Nicholas J. Kvidt

Owner/Funeral Director

Nick grew up in Roseau and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2010. He joined the staff as a licensed funeral director in 2011. After working for the funeral home for ten years, Nick became the owner in 2021. He and his wife, Amanda, have three sons, Emmett, Oliver, and Griffin.

Chris Olson

Intern Funeral Director

Chris is originally from Roseau/Badger, MN, and joined the firm in June 2017.  He married his wife Christy in the fall of 2021. He has five children; Mackenzie, Benjamin, Gabriella, Emma, and Connor.

Rachel Green

Office Administrator

Rachel came to Helgeson’s in 2019 as a funeral assistant with several years of nursing experience. In the summer of 2023 she transitioned to her current position. She lives on a farm near Greenbush with her husband Roger. They have two grown children and 2 young grandsons. She helps care for the sheep and goats on their farm when needed, and enjoys knitting and quilting.

Jeff Olson

Funeral Assistant

Jeff has worked at Helgeson's since August of 2015.  He is married to Sara and they have two children, Amy and Grace.

Louise Cook

Funeral Assistant

Louise joined Helgeson's in April 2015. She is married to Dale and they have three grown daughters and three grandchildren. Her favorite pastimes are traveling, reading, fishing, and spending time with her family.

Robert "Bob" Tuttle

Funeral Assistant

Bob joined Helgeson's in September of 2019. Bob and Jeanine are originally from Drayton, ND but have resided in Roseau since 1998, where they raised their three children, Nick (Alyssa), Kristina and Andrew.  Bob and Jeanine are also blessed to have one granddaughter Alivia. Bob retired from the U.S. Border Patrol after a 29-year career. Bob enjoys fishing, gardening, and bird hunting.
