Owner/Funeral DirectorNick grew up in Roseau and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2010. He joined the staff as a licensed funeral director in 2011. After working for the funeral home for ten years, Nick became the owner in 2021. He and his wife, Amanda, have three sons, Emmett, Oliver, and Griffin.
Charlie joined our staff in the fall of 2021 after graduating from the University of Minnesota Program of Mortuary Science. He grew up in Grand Rapids and is a fourth generation funeral director. Charlie is passionate about hunting, fishing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Cemetery/Buildings Maintenence Director
Chris is originally from Roseau/Badger, MN, and joined the firm in June 2017. He married his wife Christy in the fall of 2021. He has five children; Mackenzie, Benjamin, Gabriella, Emma, and Connor.
Donna joined Helgeson's in September 2015, after retiring from the local high school where she was an office secretary for 34 years. She and her husband, Steve, have five children and nine grandchildren. Donna and Steve are avid bicyclists. She also enjoys cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, gardening, and renovating, along with spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Jeff has worked at Helgeson's since August of 2015. He is married to Sara and they have two children, Amy and Grace.
Louise joined Helgeson's in April 2015. She is married to Dale and they have three grown daughters and three grandchildren. Her favorite pastimes are traveling, reading, fishing, and spending time with her family.
Rachel came to Helgeson’s in 2019 with several years of nursing experience. She lives near Greenbush with her husband Roger. They have two grown children. She helps care for the sheep and goats on their farm when needed, and enjoys knitting and quilting.
Bob joined Helgeson's in September of 2019. Bob
and Jeanine are originally from Drayton, ND but have resided in Roseau since 1998,
where they raised their three children, Nick (Alyssa), Kristina and
Andrew. Bob and Jeanine are also blessed to have one granddaughter
Alivia. Bob retired from the U.S. Border Patrol after a 29-year career. Bob
enjoys fishing, gardening, and bird hunting.
