To the entire family my sincere condolences. Everything I know about hockey came from Beno. His love for the sport was transmitted to all of us who started to play hockey in Litchfield in the late 60's, and 70's. You have given a lot Beno! Thanks not only to you but the family as well.

My condolences to the kids for their loss. You know, there is only 1 Beno in this world and I knew him since 1947! We all will miss him and the impact he made in Litchfield Hockey! Yes, we are still thriving and have many good people working with the kids now.

My sincere condolences to Beno's family. Beno taught me how to play hockey and mentored me through Peewees and Bantams in Litchfield. Beno was a great man and a role model throughout my life. I will always remember Beno for his fairness and easy going manner and for the penalty he called on my while playing college hockey at St. Olaf. Beno was the best of the best and will be greatly missed. RIP Beno. Our prayers and sympathies to the family. Bruce and Natalie

My thoughts and prayers are with the Kofstad family. When I was a youngster, Beno was my Bantam Hockey coach in Litchfield. What an awesome guy he was !!! He truly gave his all to the program here. He instilled a passion and work ethic to many kids in Litchfield. He will be missed !!!!

Our prayers and thoughts are with Beno's family. My Dad, Jack Prosser hunted with his brother, Dick and Beno on Lake of the Woods for many years. I was fortunate to make a couple of those trips. Great memories.

Beno's family,
We send our sympathy to you and prayed for you. GOD is the greatest Comforter and we can trust in the promises in His word! Jesus did say He is the Way, the Truth and the Life; and no one comes to the Father except through Him! (John 14:6)
We will miss seeing Beno each week at the WSLC and chatting with him. We were reminiscing about one of the Fourth of July's when Beno rode with Jule in the parade in Warroad. Fun memory and many more! We care and send our love.

Our condolences to the family of Beno. We have many fond memories of watching the Vikings together with Beno and Thais on Sunday afternoons. Hunting season was always a wonderful time and thanks to David we had plenty of venison.
