We have so many fond memories of him and you...he hired both of us at Pequot Lakes for our first teaching jobs, with Jim staying at your resort until school started. Mrs. Dowty, Michelle and Kevin - I express my condolences for the loss of your husband and father. Our mom is still alive and living in the homestead independently on Rush Lake. She will be 92 on the 17th. I can't imagine losing her. Remember the good times and hold onto the memories. Rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Bess, Michelle, Kevin and families-So sorry to hear of Bud's passing. My mom saw it in the Brainerd paper and shared the sad news. My deepest sympathies to you and yours. I share your sorrow. Been many years Michelle, it would be nice to hear from you to catch up, so much to share.

I am saddened by the passing of Uncle Bud. He leaves with me great memories of his family coming down to Bloomfield to hunt pheasants. I can remember when he was driving a snowmobile over a snow drift in the yard, and my Mother thinking he was going to come through the window. I remember having a great time at his resort, where the water was clear as glass. He was a Great Man and will be missed by all the people he has touched in his life. My Prayers go out to all of his family.

Kevin, got notice of this through the Supt. Association. Very Very sorry for your loss. I lost my dad over 20 years ago and still miss him and wish he was with us to enjoy his grandchildren.
