I'm Very sorry to find I've lost a friend I only met face to face once! The only time I was with him we had a good time, I delivered a rod to him when I was coming up to fish. Spoke to him on the phone a few times and enjoyed it! He is Missed! I'm sorry for your loss, tight lines my friend!

My beloved american father is dead. Kay and Keith let me into their home, life and family 1977-78. For this I am for ever grateful! I will miss you Keith and our "frank" e-mails. Your voice has silenced but your memory will live as long as I live. Thank you Keith! Your Swedish son Nils

I sure will miss Keith. While I have not had an opportunity to stay in very close contact since I moved to the East Coast, I will never forget the impact which he had upon my life. I can remember working with him on all kinds of projects for renovating The Terrace as well as many times working on our cars together, or installing Air Conditioning systems. I will never forget his many sayings like "too much is just enough", or "the first thing you do is open the box of the new item, find the directions, and immediately throw them away" or his infamous "here pull my finger" for naive young people. I will never forget the story of how my brother and dad tricked him into thinking he was talking to the phone company when he called them by mistake, they got him so good!! He was always laughing and was always willing to help anyone with any project. He may be gone, but he will not be forgotten. May he rest in peace......

All of condolences to Kay,Mari and all the Grandchildren. We were so sorry to hear of Keiths passing. Keith and I grew up together. He would come and stay with us on our farm in east Cambridge. When he was with us he would help milk the cows and feed the chickens. He also would come stay at haying time and potato picking time. We had lots of fun swimming in our cow tank, throwing rotten eggs at each other and smoking dried corn silk. We also did a lot of hunting and fishing together. As everyone knows Keith was an avid fisherman and very good at it. When he and I graduated from high school we both went to Minneapolis to seek our fortunes and each got jobs working for different banks . We talked to Aunt Nancy who rented out one of her bedrooms to him and i. She was a sweetheart helping us get our starts in fife. He worked at the First National Bank of Mpls ((now U.S. Bank)). Keith saved his money a bought a beautiful Red and White 55 Chevy ((loved that car)) and we both would go over to his brother Neil and Ann’s Forsbergs for dinner (many Times) and then Neil talked him into being a hair dresser. So he quit his job and went to beauty school and got his license. We talked about him getting his own salon and so we formed a partnership, and started saving money and working part time for extra $$ to have the money for the rent and equipment. He found a spot in a shopping center and rented the space and named his first Saloon “”Keith’s House of Beauty””. After a couple of years at that spot he started another saloon near the Gutherie Theater near downtown Mpls and Called it “”Terrace Hair Stylists””. We were very successful at these locations and he was a well known salon operator in Mpls. In fact he became the President of the Minneapolis Hair Dressers Association. WE owned the Salon for many years .When He finally decided to move back to his roots in the country he sold his interest in the salon to me and sold his and Kay’s home in Maple Grove,MN . He and Kay purchased a home in Warroad. When he moved to Warroad ((on The Canadian border)) We only were able to communicate by telephone and email, but we were very close. I really loved him as he and I had gone thru all the adversities of life together and we will miss him. All our LOVE to the family.
