I remember meeting Dorothy when I first moved to Warroad, she was so kind to me and always went out of her way to say hello when she saw me. I too have a piece of her hardanger which I bought at a sale at the community center. One of my favorite memories is when she met my poodle and therapy dog Vivian, and how she laughed when she heard the name! Now I realize it was also her sister's name. Thoughts are with you all, it is difficult to lose a parent, no matter the age or the circumstance.

Dorothy's family,
We send you our deepest sympathy to all of you! Dorothy was a beautiful, compassionate, sensitive lady! What a sweet lady she was! She has left all of you many treasured memories and a legacy! Prayed for you. GOD does comfort and console and gives His peace! We trust in the promises of His word. We know that Jesus said He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life,that no one comes to the Father except through Him!(John 14:6) And that salvation is found in Christ alone (Acts 4:12).
