My sincere sympathy to the Vatnsdal family for your great loss.
I knew Dennis since our High school years. I saw him each summer when I returned to Roseau, for a visit. It was always enjoyable talking to him given,his positive attitude and good humor.
I'm sure you will all miss him and realize soon, He can't be replaced.

May God's grace and peace with you through these tough times. Gary and I have enjoyed working with Dennis and the boys in school. All were pleasant and enjoyable to be around. I got to work some when Dennis and Bob Lund were teaching together. It was always so fun with them because they both had such great humor and joking that life was more fun for the rest of us. We are praying for you!

Dennis was always a great man to visit with. We talked a lot about his experience in Ponsford,MN. He stayed with my Son-inlaw's Great Grandparents in his first year of teaching and wanted to go back and visit the Mack's. I believe he said his sister was also a teacher there. Our Sympathies to your family.

My most heartfelt sympathy to the family of my cousin Dennis. I guess my greatest memory of many is when I would talk with my Dad from the organ at church in sign language and one time he tapped my Dad on the shoulder and said " no talking in church" We all laughed so good over that. He was such a fun man and enjoyed life to the fullest.

My sincere sympathy on the loss of your loved one. Mr. Vatnsdal was my fifth grade math teacher many years ago, and I can appreciate him even more now that I too have followed in the teaching profession. He was always kind and respectful; a person always remembers their favorite teachers. Mr Vatnsdal was one. Thanks for sharing him with all of those students over all of those years.
