A Memorial Service for Bobby J. Estes of Roseau, MN will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 1:00PM at the First Baptist Church in Roseau, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Bobby passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND at the age of 45.
Bobby Joe Estes was born on June 14, 1971 to Billy and Barbara (Turley) Estes in Paris, Kentucky. He grew up outside of Paris, in Winchester, Kentucky; where he attended school and graduated in 1989. After high school Bobby worked various jobs before moving to Roseau, MN on October 17, 1999. In Roseau, he worked for a time with Intercept Industries, U-Save and SuperOne.
Bobby was a big fan of UK Basketball and NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. He also enjoyed roller coasters, playing x-box, old cars, and his puppy cupid. Most of all he loved his children; who were the pride and joy of his life. He loved watching them play basketball.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Barbara Estes.
Bobby is survived by the love of his life and mother of his children, Mable Mahan; son, Noah Estes; daughter, Melodie Estes; siblings, Steve (Susan) Estes, Scott (Linda) Estes and Brian (Joe Uecker) Estes; special aunt, Jean StillWagon as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
