We have sympathy and understanding for what you are going through. Carol and I have both lost our parents. My parents enjoyed the Woidtke families, both Arnold and Curt's..We have had their kids and grandkids in school. We have worked with Mary and Joyce. We trust that you all have peace and trust in Jesus to take you through these hard times.

Arnold was one of the men my father, Carl Jackson, would hold up as an example of a men he would like me to be like when I grew up. Arnold was a great role mode for me. As a kid, I remember Arnold's great sense of humor when working as shop foreman at Jackson Pontiac-Buick. My dad always respected and trusted Arnold's judgement and honesty when dealing with customers and fellow employees. One of the few times I saw my dad shed tears was when Arnold came into the office to say he was leaving for a new job. (I was balancing the daily till in the office.) Dad wished Arnold well, congratulated Arnold on the new job, told him what a great employee he was, and said, "You are a capable man, you deserve your new job. I knew you would outgrow your present job." When Arnold left the office, tears streamed down my dad's face, and in his typical reserved Scandinavian style said, "I am really going to miss Arnold."
I remember meeting Grandma Woidtke at her home, and how respectful Arnold was of his mother when he introduced her to our family.
So, Woidtke family, remember Arnold as a bright, capable person with an outstanding work ethic, a man with a great sense of humor, and a good friend and respected by many lives he touched.
Our family sends our sympathy. Dick and Audrey extend their sympathy from Arizona, and Mary Jo and I send our our sympathy from Stillwater.
Our condolences to Kathy, Dean, Mary and your families.
Curt and Mary Jo Jackson, Dick and Audrey Jackson
