Richard "Rick" Glennen

Funeral services for Rick Glennen of Badger, MN are set for 10 AM on Saturday, May 14th at the Badger Creek Free Lutheran Church in Badger.  Visitation will be one hour prior at the church.  Interment will be at the Moe-Rose Cemetery.

Richard “Rick” Lee Glennen passed away on May 11, 2016 at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND at the age of 58.

Rick was born on December 18, 1957 in Roseau, MN to Eileen (Efshen) and Clifford Glennen.  He grew up and attended school in Roseau, graduating from Roseau High School.  While still in  high school, Rick started working at Marvin Windows and Doors and continued his employment with them for the next 35 years until health issues forced him into retirement.  Rick enjoyed his work and co-workers and missed going to work each day.

In his retirement, he looked forward each day to meeting with the morning coffee crew at the Twins Café.  He also enjoyed going to Bone Builders group in Badger and Wednesday night bingo.  Rick was also a faithful Vikings and Nascar fan.  Rick will be remembered as a dedicated worker, friend and beloved brother and uncle.

He is survived by his siblings, Marsha (Robert) Yates of Badger, MN, James (Rae) Glennen of Roseau and David Glennen of Fargo; nieces and nephews, Billy, Brian (Karrissa), Rita, Jennifer (Justin), and Ryan; great-nieces and nephews, Morgan, Kiara, Cash, Mikela, Levi, Tucker, Hazel and Caleb.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Eileen; brother, Gary and sister, Gail.
