Wade H. Ellenson

A Funeral Service for Wade H. Ellenson of Warroad, MN will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Warroad Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 5-7PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Warroad, MN and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at Good Shepard Cemetery at the Northwest Angle. 

Wade Halvor Ellenson was born on January 20,1974 to Donnelly and JoAnn Ellenson. He married Karlea Brateng Ellenson on September 21, 1996. They were blessed with a son, Bryce and a daughter, Bailee.  He and Nicole (Christianson) Ellenson were married on February 25, 2016. They were blessed with two daughters, Claire and Lainee.   He lived most of his life in Warroad, MN.

Wade lived life 100mph and so earning his nickname, “Turbo”.  Whoever or whatever he loved, liked, or believed in, he did so completely. Whether that be Bobcat, diesel, Glock, Polaris or any one of us that he invested in, he was all in. Wade was so unique and approachable and loved to laugh and prank.  He loved, helped, worked, and gave with all he had- 100%.

The same was true of his faith.  Wade knew his Savior and believed 100% in God’s love, forgiveness, hope, and in eternal life with Him.  He never wavered in claiming his faith in Jesus.

Wade’s greatest joy in this world was his daughters Bailee, Claire, and Lainee.  He was so proud of them!  They were his favorite thing to talk about and his last words were about them

Wade left to be with Jesus on Saturday, November 6th surrounded by loved ones.  He left behind his wife, 3 daughters, and many family members and friends. He left a big imprint on so many of our hearts.

Until we are able to be with you again, Wade, we won’t say “good-bye”, we will say “see you later.”

Wade was preceded in death by his son, Bryce Halvor Ellenson, grandparents, and many beloved aunts and uncles.
