Travis James Kelley was received into the arms of the Lord on March 24, 2022 at the age of 50.
Travis was born in Two Harbors, MN, the son of Valerie & Jim Kelley. He attended school in Two Harbors, graduating from high school in 1990. After graduating he attended Northland Community College for General Studies. He was a student there until 1993.
On October 30, 1993, Travis married Linda Miller in Park Rapids, MN. They had three daughters, Liberty, Jasmine, and Samantha. His greatest accomplishments were being a husband, father, and grandfather.
Travis enjoyed hunting deer, fishing, snowmobiling, walking, reading his favorite book (the Bible), and date nights with family, and friends. He also enjoyed road trips, vintage cars, snowmobiles, and the Minnesota Vikings. He was a member of the Warroad Community Church, All-Nations, where he was a deacon and he volunteered as a deacon for 100 Fold. Travis was employed at Marvin’s for 27 years and Doug’s Supermarket for 14 years.
Travis is survived by his loving wife, Linda Kelley of Warroad; daughters Liberty (Christopher) Okerman of Little Falls, MN, Jasmine Kelley of Warroad, and Samantha Kelley of Warroad; as well as two grandchildren, Chloe and Logan of Little Falls, MN; dad, Jim (Cheryl) Kelley of Vinton, Iowa; brother, Aaron (MacKenzie) Kelley of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; mother-in-law, Lynette Miller of Park Rapids, MN; brother-in-law, Ken (Jessie) Miller of Wadena, MN; aunt, Lenore Johnson of Two Harbors, MN; uncle, Virgil (Arlene) Hall; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and great-grandparents and his father in law, Earl Miller.
A memorial service for Travis will be held on Saturday, April 9 at 10:00 AM at the Warroad Community Church in Warroad. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thank you to everyone who has been supporting them during this very difficult time.
