Timothy R. Harrison

Timothy Ralland Harrison died on May 16, 2023 at 62. His service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Warroad on Monday, May 22 at 2 p.m.

He was born and raised in Warroad, where he developed his love of fishing, hunting, and hockey. He graduated from Warroad High School in 1978 and attended trade school in East Grand Forks to hone his knack for carpentry. He built a house on some of his parents' land north of Warroad, which he surrounded with trees and DIY projects. He got married and raised two kids who he loved and annoyed in about equal measure.

From his mother, Lois, Tim got a green thumb. He grew lovely flower gardens and, year after year, he planted a ton of vegetables that he never really ate. He just wanted to see them grow, then give them away. His father, Ralland, instilled in Tim his tireless work ethic and sense of loyalty. Tim put in years of work and travel with the Marvin Windows service crew, and in recent years split his time between the Marvin factory floor, Wilmer Farms, and Arnesen's Rocky Point. To his son, Matthew, Tim passed his love for the outdoors and his talent for building things with just some wood and a vision. Tim's daughter, Holly, inherited his love of books, his sense of mischief, and his appetite for adventure.

Tim is survived by his parents Ralland and Lois, his daughter Holly, his son Matthew (Ciscely), his grandsons Braxton and Hudson, his sisters Traci (Wayne) Mitterling and Robyn (Mark) Fender, his former wife and forever friend Brenda, and a handful of egg-laying hens he referred to as "the ladies."
