Tim A. Dahl

Tim Dahl, 50, passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2026, at Life Care Medical Center in Roseau, MN.

Timmy Allan Dahl was born on December 8, 1975 in Roseau, MN, to Jeff and Sonia (Olson) Dahl.

Tim earned his GED and started his career laying flooring when he was hired by Scott Jacobson. He went on to work at Polaris, on the oil rigs, at the Crystal Sugar plant and finally as a custodian at the school in Roseau, by far his favorite job. His greatest accomplishment was raising an amazing daughter. Tim and Hailey were two peas in a pod. Hailey made him a proud grandpa with the arrival of Samuel Allan.

Tim was a man who could make everyone laugh. He enjoyed being outdoors, riding motorcycle. sleds, his Ranger and 4-wheeler. Tim loved a good bonfire with a few cold snacks and telling some very animated stories!

Tim is survived by his daughter Hailey Dahl (Ryan Detweiler) and their son Samuel Allan Detweiler of Warroad, MN; brother Tony Dahl of Perham, MN and his daughters Alexandra (Amara Olds) Dahl and Amy Dahl, both of Roseau; and sister Mandy Fuller and her children Cheyenne Fuller and Caden Goodin of Roseau.  And his partner Lelah Wojciehowski.

He was preceded in death by his father Jeff and mother Sonia, maternal grandparents Leonard & Rachel Olson, paternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
