Private services will be held at a later date for Thomas F. Ness of Roosevelt.  He passed away on January 23rd a the age of 70.

Thomas Henry Ness, age 70, passed away on January 23, 2021 in his home in Roosevelt, Minnesota in the company of his beloved dog Hercules.

Tom became interested in mechanics at an early age. His knowledge of mechanics became useful during his term in the Vietnam war, and he was able to make a lifelong career out of doing what he loved. Tom was also an avid gun collector. He enjoyed restoring vintage guns and trading them for his next project. It’s been said that Tom could fix anything with a motor or a trigger.

When Tom wasn’t working on cars or guns, you could catch him cruising around in his tracker with his pups, or sitting under his cedar tree having a beer with friends. He was always happy to lend a hand to anybody that he crossed paths with. Family, friends, and neighbors could always count on Tom, even if it was just to put a smile on their face.

Tom is survived by his children, Chad Ness, Chantel Ness; grandchildren, Constance Neumiller (Joseph Neumiller), Phillip Ness, Charlene Ness; great grandchild Ophelia Neumiller; siblings, Olive Heaton, Betty Miller, Richard Ness

Tom is preceded in death by his parents Henry Ness and Cora Ness (Lack); siblings Mary Beaudoin, Jim Canoy, ConnieMack Canoy; nephew Johnny Beaudoin

A private service will be held for Tom later in the year at his residence. Date is to be determined.
