Terrold Lindgren Obituary

Terrold (Terry) Lee Lindgren passed away on September 10, 2024 at
Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona while surrounded by his
immediate family.
Terry was born to Einar and Lorraine Lindgren on January 26,1951 in
Warroad, Minnesota. He grew up on the Lindgren farm, north of Warroad.
He would come home from school/football and work on the farm until dark.
He graduated in 1969 from Warroad High School.
After graduation, Terry worked in International Falls for Boise for quite a few
years, then worked for Koochiching County Police transporting criminals. He
married Sandra Krause and had 2 children, Terrold Joseph and Lisa Lorraine. He later married
Sally Hyte and had 2 children, Leeann Marie and Tyler Einar and 2 step children Adelle and
Kevin. He moved to Apache Junction, Arizona in 1984 and worked for a construction company.
In 1987 he built his own construction business (Dessert Valley Construction) from the ground
up. He was well known in his field of work and he was busy all year long. He was just
considering retirement when he became ill. He spent his winter months in Apache Junction and
his summer months partially at his cooler home in Concho, Arizona.
Terry loved to collect and restore old vehicles and ride horses in the valley in his spare time. He
loved spending time with his family and his devoted dog Badger.
Terry was a member of the local church and was a devoted Christian. Terry will be missed
dearly by all that knew him.
Terry is survived by his children, Terrold Joseph (Amanda) Lindgren of San Tan Valley, Az., Lisa Lorraine
(Harold) Pobst of Apache Junction, Az., Tyler Einar of Coeur d Alene, Idaho, LeeAnn Marie (Gabe) Henry
of Walnut Cove, North Carolina. Grandchildren: Dustin, Daltin, Kali, Kayla, Nicholas, Hailey, Mya, Ava,
Hailey, Britany, Gavin and Cody. Great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Brea, Lorraine (Rainy), Kaden, Darren,
Morgan, Colter, Miles and Billy, Sister Janet (Rod) Battles of Roosevelt, MN, and his good friend, Raquel
Deboer of Apache Junction, Az., and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Terry was proceeded in death by his parents, Einar and Lorraine Lindgren, his sisters Lovonna
Cole and Loretta Milender, brother Gary Lindgren, nephew Sheldon Ray Milender, and many
aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial will be held in Arizona for family and friends.
A local memorial is being planned at the Roosevelt Community Center in Roosevelt, MN on
October 2, 2024 at 3:00 pm . A luncheon to follow the service. Interment will be at the
Norland Cemetery (North of Salol) for family.
