Steven Randal Hooper

Steven Randal Hooper (Randy) was born June 9th, 1949 in Warroad MN to Mildred (Gage) and Horace Hooper. Randy as he was known to friends and family spent most of his time in California and Hobbs, New Mexico. Randy lived in Baudette, MN for the last 20+ years. Randy once said his biggest passions were motorcycles, hot women, and beer. Last year Randy had a stroke that led to him moving to Lakewood Care center. He enjoyed visits from his niece and 3 great-great nieces often reminding them to bring his favorite treats next time they came.

Randy is proceeded in death by both parents, his niece Deb Bey, his Niece Dorothy’s husband Ronald Lucek whom he was a dear friend to, and his great nieces Nara-Lynn Lee Lucek and Brandi Murray.

Randy is survived by his two sisters Lavonne Baade and Gloria Baker, his nephew Maverick (Christie) Russell, nephew Lance (Kellie) Russell and their kids- Sydney, Logan, Mason, Nephew Jason Baade, Niece Dorothy Lucek and her kids Amanda (Ronnie), Justin (Samantha) Nephews Wade Wilder and Michael Baker, and Niece Shawna Owens. His 3 very Special great-great nieces Danika, Elyn, and Karys. Other nieces and nephews include: Carie, Braun, Michael, Cassidy, Amber, BayLeigh, Eric. Along with many more family members he is survived by a great group of friends that will miss him dearly.
