Shirley L. Harrison

Shirley Lorraine (Reinhart) Harrison passed away suddenly in her home on January 1, 2023. Shirley was born on October 12, 1942 to George and Norma (Beseman) Reinhart in Warroad, MN.   

Shirley married Donald Harrison on July 28th, 1962 in Warroad. She and Don had three children, Tereasa Lea, Donald Bart, and Debra Marie.   

Throughout her life Shirley had a passion for children. Shirley had a positive influence on the children at the Day Care Center where she worked for years. Shirley facilitated the children’s participation in T-ball each summer. Shirley’s 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren were the light of Shirley’s eye. Shirley also loved to read, sew, and play on her iPad.  

Shirley was predeceased by her spouse Donald, and parents George and Norma Reinhart. She is survived by her children, Terry Brostrom, Bart, and Debbie Plemel; and her siblings Charles Reinhart, George Reinhart, and Pattie (Reinhart) McKeever.    

Services will be held at Helgeson Funeral Home in Warroad, MN on April 22, 2023 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to your local library or food pantry.
