Shannon Lee (Stein) Barnes

In the presence of her friends and family, Shannon Lee (Stein) Barnes ended her 18-year battle with cancer on October 1, 2023 at the age of 50 in her home in Warroad, MN. She was born on October 22, 1972 in Jacksonville, NC and grew up in Longville, MN. In 1996 she moved to Warroad where she worked at Marvin Windows & Doors for 20 years before retiring in 2020.

Shannon brought immense joy and warmth to the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was known for her sense of humor, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family and many friends. Shannon loved spending her time listening to music, crafting, camping, and going for rides in her ’68 Camaro, but most importantly she loved embracing joy and laughter with her many friends in the crafting crew. Shannon will be remembered for always considering others first, her strength, and her courage.

Shannon is survived by her husband Jim, her sons Tyler Titcomb (Sara) of Tiffin, IA and Kyle Rourk (Elizabeth) of Warroad, MN, her brothers Jason Stein (Rachel) of Warroad, MN and Jesse Stein of Colorado Springs, CO, her father Rick Stein (Barb) of Woodbury, MN, her grandchildren Caliray, Aubrey, Rylen, Hudson, Neal, and her nieces and nephews Jordan, Spencer, Ava, and Jase.

Shannon was preceded in death by her mother Julie and stepfather Neal.

A Funeral Service for Shannon L. Barnes of Warroad will take place Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Woodland Bible Church at 3:00pm with a visitation an hour prior. Interment will take place at Silent City Cemetery in Roosevelt.
