Sandra J Huerd

Sandra June Huerd, age 75, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2019. She was born June 25, 1944 in Warroad, MN to John and Esther Jaros. After graduation in May of 1962, she married her high school sweetheart, and the love of her life, Rolland W. Huerd on July 28, 1962.  Together they had four children. Throughout the years Sandra had many jobs, but none greater or more important to her than that of wife, mother and grandmother. She was happiest when all of her family was together, especially when it was around a bonfire in the summer and a Christmas tree in the winter.  Sandra loved baking everyone’s favorite cookies at Christmas, serving her famous caramel rolls for a visit over coffee and decorating her home to welcome friends and family for every season and occasion.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, John and Esther Jaros and her brother, David Jaros.

She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 57 years, Rolland; son, Keith (Kristin); daughter, Burdette (Michael III); daughter, Jodi; son, Vincent (Ashley); her 10 beautiful grandchildren, Dillion, Francesca, Dryden, Danika, Michael IV, Gavin, Lincoln, Diarra, Adriana, and Hudson. Also surviving Sandra is her dear sister, Norine (Ted); many sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Sandra touched, are invited to Regular Mass on Saturday, July 6th, 2019 at 6:00 PM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Warroad, MN, with cake and coffee fellowship after in the gathering space. A Private Burial for Sandra will take place. Memorials and Remembrances may be sent to the family.
