Rosemary Morales Obituary

Rosemary Lynn Morales, age 65 of Roseau, passed away Friday, June 11, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She passed away after battling cancer for 6 years. She was born on October 4, 1955 in Austin, MN to Roger B. and Joyce E. (Crnkovic) Peters. Rose married Santos Morales on November 3, 1984 in Austin, MN. She attended and graduated from Austin High School. She worked at Brown printing in Waseca, MN, Nahan printing in Waite Park, MN and Marvins in Warroad, MN. Some of her hobbies were copying and making new recipes and shopping. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed spoiling her grandkids. Her favorite animals were dolphins and tigers. She loved the smell and sight of lilacs her favorite flower. She loved sharing and talking about the Bible. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on April 13th 1985 in Albert Lea, MN and remained active in the ministry until her death. She loved sharing the hope of the resurrection, it was her hope to be back together again with her family and friends here on earth in perfect health. She also took comfort in the scriptures Psalm 37: 10,11 and Revelation 21:3,4.

Survivors of Rose include her husband Santos Morales, her four sons, Josh Morales, Roger Morales and his son Levi and daughter Jessalynn, Daniel (Tessa) Morales, Thomas (Dyamond) Morales and soon to be born daughter Leyanna, all of Thief River Falls, MN, two sisters Diana (Kevin) Dougherty of St. Louis, MO, Cheryl (Mike) Eckhart of Byron, MN, two nieces Amber and Erin along with their children, and many other relatives and friends. Rose was preceded in death by her parents Roger and Joyce Peters, her sister Virginia Peters, and her grandparents Charles and Myrtle Crnkovic and Ben and Hatti Peters.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 19th 2021 over zoom. Jamie Eckert will be officiating. We would like to personally thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.
