Roderick (Rocky) Carter Peterson, 64, of Roseau, MN, passed away in Roseau, MN early January 20, 2024.
He was born in Port Washington, WI on October 10, 1959 to Dennis and Carol (Thom) Peterson, and was a bright, smiling active youth who enjoyed sports including baseball. Rocky attended Port Washington High School before becoming a welder working in Texas, North Dakota, and finally many wonderful years with Polaris in Roseau. He had an infectious laugh and smile. Rocky enjoyed the great outdoors including fishing, hunting, and bird watching. He loved animals, farming, and nature.
Rocky was preceded in death by Dennis and Carol (Thom) Peterson (parents), Hilmer and Esther Peterson, Henry and Annie Thom (grandparents), and is survived by Jeanette Peterson (daughter), Judith Demerath (stepmom), Vernon Peterson, Jeanette Payton, (Dearest Brother) Jeff Peterson, Brenda Peterson Clemens, Mike Peterson, Dennis Peterson, Sherri Peterson Braam,Deanie Nieman, Doreen Moegenburg and Daren Villeneuve (siblings).
