Robbie S. Nesmith

Robbie Nesmith, age 44 of Minnetrista, MN passed away Wednesday, July 19th, 2023.

Combined services for Robbie and his father will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, in Baudette, the 12th of September at 11:00 am.

Robbie Scott Nesmith was born June 5th, 1979 to Morton and Joan Nesmith in Baudette, MN. Robbie attended Lake of the Woods High School in Baudette and furthered his education at the Marine Mechanics Institute in Orlando, Florida. On May 6th, 2023 Robbie was united in marriage to Brenda Littfin in Excelsior, MN. Growing up in Baudette, MN he worked with his father in the marina business which turned into his lifelong work. Robbie worked at Rockvam Boat Yard in Minnetonka, MN, Gander Mountain, and Indoor Boat Storage in Lester Prairie, MN and operated his own marine business after hours. A meticulous and talented boat mechanic, he took pride in everything he did. Work was his passion and he enjoyed time spent with family and friends. Faith was important to him and he attended and volunteered at local churches. Animal lover, he enjoyed his dogs Caleb and Angel and looked forward to his walks with them. Snowmobiling, boating and riding his Harley and anything motorized was especially enjoyable to him. Robbie was preceded in death by his mother, Joan. Survived by wife Brenda; stepchildren Nicole Dressel (Nick Mellgren), Justin Littfin; step-grandchildren Aubrie Dressel, Carter Mellgren, Haislee Mellgren; brothers Stephen (LeAnn) Nesmith, Barry (Constance) Nesmith; sister Jaimi (Nathanael) Meyer; nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and other relatives and friends. Memorials preferred to the Lake of the Woods Humane Society.
