Riley Kezar of Warroad passed away surrounded by his family on August 7, 2024 at LifeCare Roseau Manor in Roseau at the age of 87.
Riley Lee Kezar was born on July 29, 1937, in Viking, MN to George and Alice (Ranum) Kezar. Growing up Riley went to Viking School and worked on the family farm. On December 9, 1961, Riley married Irma Lewis at Battles Farm in Roosevelt.
He started working Marvin Windows and Doors in 1962 unloading box cars and working in the lumber yard unloading trailers by forklift. Riley worked for Marvin’s for more than 40 years.
Riley loved farming, hunting, and fishing. He was the family get-together water fight investigator and loved visiting with family and friends all over town.
He is survived by his daughter Amy (Dennis) Freeman of Warroad, MN; son Dennis (Tina) Kezar of Warroad; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters Violet Parker and Marion Urtel.
Riley was preceded in death by his parents; wife Irma; 2 infant daughters; sister Milly Pokrzywinski; and brother Robert Kezar.
A Funeral Service for Riley Kezar of Warroad will take place at All Nations New Life Center in Warroad on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 11:00am with a visitation an hour prior.
