Obituary
Patricia Perish formerly of Inver Grove Heights, MN passed away on June 24, 2023 at the Karlstad Nursing Home in Karlstad, MN at the age of 72.
Patricia “Pat” Kay Perish was born on November 10, 1950 in Fergus Falls, MN to Theodore and Audrey (Sherrett) Asmus. She attended 1 year of cosmetology school and on May 22, 1982 Pat married Gerald “Jerry” Perish in Brainerd, MN. Pat was a self-employed Beautician for 53 years and worked as a phone receptionist at the Alina Hospital for 24 years.
She was active in the Lutheran Church in White Bear Lake where she was a Sunday School Teacher. Pat’s passions included gardening, playing cards, having company and entertaining. She always decorated her house for the holidays and loved giving back to customers.
Pat is survived by her husband, Jerry Perish; son, Andrew (Kate) Perish; grandchildren, Grace and Maddie; siblings, Dave (Diane) Asmus, Don (Judy) Asmus; Ron (Tracey) Asmus; Gordy (Phyllis) Asmus, Janie (Kevin) Lindgren; and many nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Audrey; siblings, Dorothy Asmus , Bob Asmus, and Rose Nelk.
A Memorial Service for Pat will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Karlstad Baptist Church at 11:00am with a visitation an hour prior.
