Louise was born August 7, 1933 in Buyck, Minnesota at the home of her parents, Fred and Bertha Eichholz. After her father died in 1942, she moved with her mother and brother Duane to Tower Minnesota, where they lived until she graduated from high school in the spring of 1950. She went on to take nurse’s training in Duluth, Minnesota and became a Registered Nurse. It was during nurse’s training that she met Dwayne Carlberg on a blind date in 1953. They were married on September 8, 1956. Together, they loved and raised two children. Louise passed away at the LakeWood Health Center in Baudette on November 27, 2024 at the age of 91.

She spent the rest of her life devoting as much time as possible to sharing her faith and future hope with as many as she could. She served as a Regular Pioneer for many years and was rarely missing from weekly meetings at the Kingdom Hall.
