Lois E. Jackson

A graveside memorial service for Lois Eileen Jackson will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Badger City Cemetery in Badger, Minnesota. Lunch will be served following the service at Skippy Finn's Bar.

Lois Eileen Jackson passed away on July 3, 2026, at Roseau LifeCare Manor at the age of 80.

Lois was born on May 26, 1946, to Campbell and Wanda (Erickson) Jackson. She graduated from Badger High School in 1964. Shortly after graduation, she married and became the mother of two sons. She was baptized and confirmed at Oiland Free Lutheran Church in Greenbush, Minnesota.

Throughout her life, Lois worked in a variety of occupations. She tended bar, drove school bus, served as a U.S. Mail carrier, and later worked for Polaris. Over the years, she made her home in Minnesota, Oregon, and Montana.

Lois enjoyed baking—especially her famous almond cakes—decorating, playing cards, bingo, and spending time visiting with family and friends. Her greatest joy was caring for and growing flowers.

She is survived by her two sons, Chad and Shawn, both of Gladstone, Oregon; her sister, Arlys (Tom) of Badger, Minnesota; her brother, Dennis (Alice) Jackson of Lawton, Oklahoma; sisters-in-law, Fern Jackson of Clearbrook, Minnesota, and Marcella Jackson of Russell, Arkansas; five grandchildren; and her special friend, Cheryl Allen.

She was preceded in death by her special friend, Kenneth "Pinky" Kjos; her parents, Campbell and Wanda Jackson; her siblings, Shirley (Rolland) Hutchinson of Las Vegas, Nevada; Wayne Jackson of Clearbrook, Minnesota; Ivan (Lila) Jackson of Billings, Montana; Alley Jackson of Badger, Minnesota; and Randy Jackson of Russell, Arkansas; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Lois's life and to share fellowship following the graveside service at Skippy Finn's Bar.
