Lewis Dean Wyer

A Visitation for Lewis Dean Wyer of Roseau will take place on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau from 5:00-7:00pm.

Lewis Dean Wyer was born February 9th,1979 in Mt. Mesa, California and passed away September 17th, 2023 at the age of 44.

He was born to Gary and Catherine (Inglett) Wyer. During his life, Lewis lived in California, Minnesota, and Idaho. In 1997, Gary and Lewis moved to Roseau, MN. It was there that Lewis met the love of his life, Heather Carmichael. They were married November 1st, 2003. They had two children, Jordan and Lacey. Lewis' family was his whole world. 

Lewis worked at Hardee's, JD Seamless, Roseau School, and Northern Resources. He was extremely talented with mechanic work, woodwork, and construction. He could build and fix damn near anything. 

Lewis is survived by his family; Heather, Jordan and Lacey. His father Gary (Gloria) Wyer, and mother, Katherine Wyer. Two sisters, Tammy (Brian) Hagen and Christy (Donnie) Cleveland. Lewis' Mother in law, Wanda (Bill) Thompson, Father in law, Robert (Brandy) Carmichael. Sister in Law, Sarah Carmichael, and Brother in Law Robert Carmichael Jr.. Step siblings, Rick (Jean) Boroos, Angela (Shane) Nelson, Allison Ferweda, and Amber (Aaron) Beito. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Also, Lewis' lifelong best friend, TK (Shaundra) Shaw.

Lewis was preceded in death by Grandfather Rollie Wyer, Grandmother Donna (Ted) Rowjeski, Grandparents Lewis and Carol Inglett. Also his cousin Joey Hildeman. 

Lewis was known as a great guy, very reliable, friendly and good natured. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, trail riding with his family and friends. He also enjoyed visiting and gaming with his online buddies. He was always willing to help whomever, whenever needed. He was always willing to help the underdog. He will be missed.

Lewis' family thank each and every one of you for being a part of his life.
