A Funeral Service for Kevin L. Holt of Roseau, MN will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau, MN following MN State Covid Guidelines. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Spruce Cemetery in Roseau, MN.

Kevin Lynn Holt was born March 4, 1968 in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Kenneth and Adella (Tweten) Holt.

Kevin gained his wings on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at his home in Roseau, MN surrounded by his family. He was 52 years old.

He worked several jobs as a young man. He spent 20 years at Polaris Industries in Roseau, MN. Most of that time was spent in the welding department. He was at KMS in Roseau for 10 years until he was no longer able to work due to his cancer diagnosis.

Kevin knew the acute awareness of the importance of a life lived and shared with the ones he loved over any material possessions. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, bon fires, playing games and drinking beer with family, friends, coworkers and the love of his life.

Kevin is survived by his fiancé and love of his life Coralee Meyers; daughters Katie (Tim) Tollefson of Roseau, MN and Kelsey Holt (Branden) of Warroad, MN; Coralee’s children Tyler (Ashley) Dybedahl of Bemidji, MN, Samantha (Anthony) Knudson of Bemidji, MN and Cody Meyers of Bemidji, MN; his grandchildren Khloey, Jacey and Owen; siblings Kent (Donna) Bailey of Ham Lake, MN, Darla Swanson of Thief River Falls, MN, Kim Gust (Jamie Loken) of Roseau; and twin brother Kurt Holt of Roseau; nieces and nephews Seth, Sidney, Todd (Rachel), Clarence (Meagan), Shania (Andrew), Jasmine, Justin (Jenny), Aaron (April), Kody, Ashley and Tessa; special uncle and aunt Mark and Jean; and several other aunts, uncles, great-nephews and great-nieces (Cael, Chase, Levi, Carter, Emerson, Chloe, Eli, Levi, Tucker, Benji, Aspen, Caydun, Janieva, Hunter, Taryn, Toby and Ty).

He was preceded in death by his parents Kenny and Adella; grandparents Howard and Grace Tweten; grandparents Aubrey and Mabel Holt; nephew Jamie Swanson, great-nephew Jamison Swanson, cousin Jeffery Knapp and uncle Wallace Knapp.
