Kenneth O. Penas

A Funeral Service for Kenneth O. Penas of Roseau, MN will be held on Saturday December 7, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Barnett Cemetery. 

Kenneth passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at the age of 82.

Kenneth Oliver Penas was born on October 12, 1937 to Hubert and Edith (Hams) Penas in Roseau, MN. He grew up in Badger, MN and graduated there from high school in 1955. After high school he started working construction for a time before beginning his work with Marvin Windows and Doors in Warroad, MN. He worked for Marvin’s until his retirement.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Edith; brothers, Duane and Hubert Jr.; sister-in-law, Bev Penas.

He is survived by his sister, Diane (Robert) Bjerke of Fargo, ND; nephews, Kirby (Stacey) Penas of Greenbush, MN, Rick (Tracy) Penas of Moorhead, MN, Brad (Kari) Penas of Moorhead, MN, Cory (Naomi) Bjerke or Albany, OR; nieces, Debbie (John) Foldesi of Lake Park, MN, Cindy (Jim) Meagher of Panama, Sheri Bjerke of Grand Forks, ND; 5 great-nephews; 7 great-nieces; sister-in-law, Lois Schaefer of Mesa, AZ.
