Kenneth S. McFarlane

Kenneth S. McFarlane passed away on November 28, 2025 age 84,at Lifecare Medical Center in Roseau, MN.

Ken was born on May 29, 1941, in Warroad, Minnesota. On May 16, 1959, he was united in marriage to Ruth (Holland) in Warroad, where they built their home and raised their family.

Ken worked for many years at Marvin Windows. Outside of work, he enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors. He loved tinkering and was known for his creativity, crafting guns out of pen parts and sewing machine pieces and building wooden toy trucks for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; daughter Dixie (Joe) Hoglo; son Jody McFarlane and his partner Tracy Wyatt; grandchildren Derrick McFarlane, David (Nicki) Hoglo, Blake (Katie) Hoglo, and Heidi (David) Ramsey; and great-grandchildren Dominic, Piper, Zander, Myla, Bella, Adrienne, and Greycen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Ella (Hams) McFarlane.

A family service will be held in the spring.
