Julie A. Mindl was born in International Falls, MN and grew up in Warroad, MN graduating in  1985. She went into the Army Reserves before returning to Warroad to work. Julie was united in  marriage to Donald Mindl on August 13, 1988. She worked at Marvin, and the Warroad School  as a member of the kitchen staff and a para before starting and running her own cleaning  business for the next 18 years. Julie found joy in life’s simple, meaningful moments. She had a  lifelong love of horseback riding, where she felt most at peace. She poured her creativity into  quilting and sewing, crafting pieces that will be cherished for generations. Her hands were rarely  still—whether tending her garden, stitching a quilt, or preparing for the next camping trip. She  especially enjoyed a good cup of coffee and going for Ranger rides, embracing the outdoors and  the freedom it brought her.

Julie was known for her kindness, quiet strength, and generous heart. She found happiness in  sharing her passions with family and friends, and had a special way of making others feel  welcome and cared for. Her love for nature and creativity reflected the warmth she brought into  every relationship. She had a very magnetic personality and made friends wherever she went.
