In loving memory Jon " Your Crazy Native " Lightning. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jon Henery Lightning age 39, passed away on the evening of June 20th 2021.
Jon was born in Grand Forks North Dakota on December 6th 1981. Currently residing in Fargo North Dakota. He is predeceased by his loving Grandmother Lorraine Lizbeth Lightning and Grandfather Gerald Sargent..... In his passing he leaves his mother De Lightning Sister's Sherrie Kakaygeesick & Heather Lightning along with his nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
The one thing I think you may all know and remember about our brother Jon is he was a true Gypsy! So free-spirited and gifted. Always on the go,Often he would say "Cant stay the Gypsy blood is kicking in.. gotta go. love ya peace ✌
He travelled across the States & seen many places. We all looked forward to hearing from him. His description of his adventures were captivating & put us in awe. Was always well known no matter where he was, always making friends on the Daily & most knew of Mom, Sherrie & I too. He was always very protective of the ones he knew and loved. To our mother, He was & will Always be her "Precious" & Her his "Precious.
He will Truly be missed by all.

No one loved life more than Jon. We know he wouldn't want us to wallow alone in our misery, so we are hosting a service to rejoice in his life and share our memories. I hope you can come and pay your final respects with us.
Memorial services: Wednesday, July 7th 12:30 -3:30 pm at the Warroad Community Church with Pastor Gus Booth
Burial: Riverside Cemetery 4:00 pm
No reception.
Memorial services were presented July 4th 2021 in Middlebro Manitoba.
