Memorial services for Jon Johnson will be held Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau, MN.

Jon Carl Johnson, 63, of rural Roseau, passed away November 21, 2020 at his home. Jon was born Sept 28, 1957 in Roseau to Mary (Krzoska) and Oscar Johnson. He was raised on the family farm in Falun Township. Jon attended school in Salol, Malung, and graduated from Roseau High School. After high school, Jon worked at Marvin Windows for one year, then at Northland Tire for several years. He spent 25 years of his career at Polaris Industries in Roseau where he had many friends. Jon enjoyed hunting, shooting, visiting neighbors, having coffee and a good joke. Jon is survived by his mother, Mary Mattson, of Roseau; a brother, Glen (Glenda) of Roseau; two sisters, Gail of rural Roseau, and Amy (Sam) Christenson of Bemidji. He is also survived by three nephews, Flann Christenson of Blackduck, Gavin (Samantha) Johnson of West Concord, Clark (Naomi) Christenson of Duluth, and a niece, Danica (Steve) Gigl of Crystal. Other survivors include two grand nieces, three grand nephews, an uncle and aunt, Eugene and Martha Krzoska, aunts, Mildred Brosdahl and Martha (Willie) Krzoska, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Johnson.
