A Funeral Service for John F. Rybak Jr. will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 2:00PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Warroad, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at America Cemetery in Warroad, MN.
John Rybak Jr. was born October 8th, 1961, in Trenton NJ, to his parents John and Joan Rybak. John was the middle of four siblings, John attended grade school in Grand Forks which was the last Air Force base John Sr. was stationed at before retirement. Once John Sr. retired the family moved to Warroad where John continued his schooling, graduating from Warroad Highschool.
After High School he attended college in Fargo for culinary, he worked in the culinary field for many years before moving back to Warroad where he began his lifelong passion of carpentry, which allowed to build several homes in the Warroad and the lake region.
John was an avid hunter, angler, family man,He was very proud of his children and grand children, and had a very specific nickname for each and every one. He was a lover of all animals which led him to building a small hobby farm of ducks, geese, cats, dogs, horses, pacocks.
John met the love of his life Carla in Warroad, and married on May 10th, 2007, shortly afterward building a home out in Roosevelt where they have resided ever since.
John is survived by his wife, Carla, Son Jon Rybak and Daughter Sami Zavoral, Brother Michael and Jim Rybak, Stepchildren Justin Parker, Travis Parker, Vickie Jerome, Terri Parker; Grandchildren Eleanor, Gaige, Karsen, Maleah, Owen, Zara, Drew, Rylie, Carlie, Jonah, Tristen, Taylor, Ethan, Addison; great grandchild Brooks; and last but not least his beloved dog Annie.
John was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Catherine Rybak; aunt, Marce Prichard.
