Joe Allen Risser

Joe Allen Risser Sr, age 58, of Roseau, MN entered into eternal rest September 20, 2020. Joe was born in Papillion, Nebraska Oct 22, 1961 to Joseph and Carmen Risser. He served in the United States Army from Oct-1979 to Nov-1983, discharging at the rank of Corporal. Upon his honorable discharge, he returned to the Warroad area and began his career driving over the road for 36 years. He was a big outdoorsman with a love for hunting, fishing, and camping. 

He is survived by his sons; Todd Risser (Lisa), Cody Risser, and Taylor Risser. His siblings; Julie (Mike) Risser and Jason Risser. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Haylie and Jaxton Risser (Todd and Lisa), niece and nephews; Matthew, David, Adam (Julie and Mike), Mckale and Shayla (Jason), and several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

He is preceded in death by his son; Joe "Skeeter" Risser Jr. His parents, and many aunts, uncles, and his grandparents. 

There will be a graveside service held on October 2, 2020 at 2:00pm at the Riverside Cemetery in Warroad, MN. Military honors by the Warroad American Legion and VFW.
