Memorial services for Gertrude (Lorenz) Muggli of Baudette, MN, and formerly of Williams, MN, will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 11 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Baudette, MN. Interment will be at a later date.
Gertrude Augusta (Lorenz) Muggli passed away December 9, 2020 at the LakeWood Care Center at the age of 80.
Gertrude was born on August 9, 1940 in Jamestown, ND to Benedict J. and Dorothy G. (Mueller) Lorenz. She went to school in Williams, MN, graduating in 1957. On June 7, 1958, she married Edward “Tom” Muggli. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved to read, crafts, raise goats and make blood sausage. Blessed be her memory.
She is survived by her husband, Edward “Tom” Muggli of Williams; children, Edward Jr. (Lisa) Muggli, Cindy Nichols, Reno (Joy) Muggli, Bonnie (Gaylen) Nelson, Rex (Sandy) Muggli, William “Bill” (Carly) Muggli, Cleo Clemmer; siblings, Beverly (Mark) Thorsell, Emil (Linda) Lorenz and Margaret Brackney (David Winstrom); in-laws, Janet Lorenz. He was preceded in death by Dick Clemmer, John Lorenz and Harvey Nichols.
