Frank Mack, age, 87 of Williams, MN, passed away on November 24, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Frank was born to Ambrose and Mary (Ovsak) Mack and grew up in East Grand Forks, MN. At the age of nine, his family moved to Keystone Township in Polk County, where he attended a rural school. Frank later enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served his country until receiving his honorable discharge.

On November 16, 1961, Frank married Carol Ferencik. Together they had six children. Frank was a natural mechanic with a passion for fixing and improving anything he could get his hands on. He worked for many years at Rydell Chevrolet in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and later served as an instructor at AVTI in East Grand Forks. He spent the remainder of his career in the mechanical field, earning respect for his skill, patience, and strong work ethic.

Frank loved the outdoors. He enjoyed gardening, mowing, hunting, and fishing, and was happiest with fresh air on his face and something to tinker with. A proud American, he flew his flag faithfully and believed deeply in service and community. He served as a Williams City Council member and was an active member of the American Legion. He was also a founding member of the East Grand Forks Rod and Gun Club, an organization that reflected his love of fellowship and the outdoors.

Frank is survived by his children Tim (Jill) Mack of Roosevelt, MN; Brian Mack of Williams, MN; Mary (Brian) McMahon of East Grand Forks, MN; Darin Mack of Williams, MN; Michelle (Kenny) Useldinger of Fargo, ND; and son-in-law Mike (Mary) Wavra.  His siblings Eleanor Bridgeford, Steve (Shelly) Mack, Margaret (Kenny) Farstad, Mike (Tammy) Mack, all of East Grand Forks, MN, Eddie (Bonnie) Mack of Grand Forks, ND.  He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him tremendous pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Jack and Ronald; and his daughter, Natalie Wavra and brother-in-law Pat Bridgeford.

Frank will be remembered for his kindness, his love of the outdoors, his devotion to his family, and his lifelong pride in his country. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The Family of Frank would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the amazing staff at Lakewood Care Center.
