Evan Roger Anderson, age 20, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 from having a big heart (of course), resulting in an aortic aneurysm caused by Marfan Syndrome. We think he did this on purpose to avoid having to make a decision in the upcoming presidential election.
He leaves behind his mom and dad, David and Kristy Anderson; his big, little sister, Katie: also, his grandparents, Roger and Margaret Stoll and Mary and Jerry Anderson; 16 cousins; his cat, Opie; and a million friends.
Evan graduated in May and received a diploma from Northland Technical College (that was signed) in Automotive Mechanics. He was addicted to hunting and fishing, doing chores for his mom (just kidding) and spending time with his friends. His favorite pass-time was having a home filled with laughter, in which we did A LOT!
Evan had a potty-mouth and no self-control when it came to rash decisions… they were never bad, just stupid. Many people would make comments to his mama about his size and she would always answer them with “And I still rock him to sleep!”
The most important thing of all, is that he was NEVER ashamed of his belief in Jesus, his Savior!
A celebration of life service will be on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Warroad Baptist Church. Visitation will be from noon to 2 PM at the church. And as far as how many friends and family come to honor Evan, remember: “If any questions should arise, I’m blind and you don’t speak English.” Masks are encouraged for everyone. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. “And memories....where to begin?”
