Elizabeth M. Ehlers

Elizabeth Marie Ehlers was born in Roseau, MN on August 19, 1980. Daughter of Harry(Melanie) and Jennifer (Brateng) Shepard. She grew up in Warroad, MN and attended Warroad High School. Elizabeth was employed at Marvin in Warroad where she met her future husband, Mitchell Ehlers. They were married in 2002 and made their home in Warroad.

Elizabeth enjoyed listening to music, crafting, collecting dolls, watching horror movies on Halloween, spending time with family on holidays, and anything to do with the Royal Family in England. Elizabeth also had a deep love for horses.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Jennifer Shepard; grandmothers, Dorothy Shepard, Joanne Brateng; grandpa, Harry Shepard Sr; cousins, Billy and Matthew Shepard; father-in-law, Jack Ehlers.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Mitchell Ehlers; father, Harry Jr. (Melanie) Shepard; siblings, Harry (Paula Sawyer) Shepard III, Liza Shepard, Andy Shepard, Garth Shepard, Elliott ( Savannah Hagen) Shepard; mother-in-law, Becky (Arvid) Jensen and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Elizabeth M. Ehlers will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 1:00PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Bethesda Cemetery.
