Dennis Ray Foster

Passed away,  Monday, February 2, 2026 peacefully in his home at the age of 82, in West Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Dennis was born October 25, 1943 in Warroad, Minnesota. He was the son of Edgar and Helen Foster. Dennis served in the United States Army in the 101st Airborne Division. He worked in sales for over 20 years.

Dennis lit up any room he entered with his sense of humor and kind demeanor.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, making candy and making knives. He was an incredible dancer. He was an amazing father, grandfather, uncle and friend and will be missed greatly. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (Meek) Foster, his mother Helen (Gallant) Foster, his father Edgar Foster, brother Duane and sister Annette.His father in law, Ralph Meek and mother in law ,Bernice (Mattson) Meek. 

He is survived by his two daughters Traci Foster and Tanya Schillinger, their spouses Carlos Rodriguez and Troy Schillinger, grandchildren Sam, Nuria, Claudia, Zander, Zoe and Zaylin. And his sister, Joyce McCrea.

We will have a military ceremony at Fort Snelling this summer followed by a Celebration of Life(TBA). He will be put to rest with his loving wife of 45 years, Nancy.
