Denise H. (Zimney) Noga

Denise Hildegarde (Zimney) Noga of Baudette, MN died on March 8th, 2025 in her sleep.

Denise was born on December 11, 1958 to Steve and Hildegarde (Marshik) Zimney of Baudette. She graduated from Lake of the Woods School in 1976.

On July 25, 1981 she was united in marriage to Daniel Noga at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Baudette. In 1995 Dan and Denise adopted the sunshine of their lives; their son Kadon Noga.

Denise worked at Lakewood Health as Food Service Supervisor for the hospital/long term care center from January 1992 to September 2018. During that time she did online classes and earned her degree as dietician and also completed the required program and received her certification for Nursing assistant.

Denise was a member of Evangelical Covenant Church, served on the council, was active as a librarian in the church library. Jesus was her guide.

She enjoyed her flowers and gardening, but most of all she loved her grandchildren. She made perogies and would bring them to family gatherings. She enjoyed her dog Hobbes and 2 cats. Her BFF was Cyndi Ann Kroger who she enjoyed many laughs, coffee and true friendship with over the years.

Denise is survived by son Kadon and grandchildren Lola, Nay'Deen, Tucker and Braylan, all of Baudette. Siblings Marian Salo, Ron (Lila) Zimney, Stephen (Felma) Zimney, Norman Zimney, Betty Jo Berg, Barb (Bob) Skluzacek, Dan (Ramona) Zimney. Brother in laws Walter O'Malley, Larry Pennypacker, David (Jennifer) Noga, Melvin (Deb) Noga, Nicholas (Laura) Noga, sister in law Lillian (Joe) Toka and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Irene Pennypacker, Jeanne O'Malley, Donna Zimney and Johnelle Zimney. Brother in law Matt Berg, niece Marla Jean Pennypacker.
