David Allen Rinde

A Memorial Service for David Rinde of Roseau will take place on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau at 2:00 pm with at visitation an hour prior. Interment will be held at Roselund Cemetery.

David Allen Rinde passed away March 6, 2024 at the age of 64.  David was born to Donald and Shirley Rinde on September 30, 1959.  He grew up on a farm in Moose Township, near Badger, MN.  He graduated from Badger High School and continued Ag College in Thief River Falls.  When he finished college he farmed the family farm with his dad.  He began working in later years at NorFarm Seeds.  He worked there from 1979 to the present time.  

David was an active member of the Roselund Church.  David was married to Deborah and through that marriage came three sons, Ian, Elliot and Blake.  David enjoyed the outdoors, driving around checking out the countryside, and enjoyed keeping up with the local sports.  He so loved his boys and was so proud of them and their accomplishments.  He also was so proud of his grandkids and talked about how they did in school and the sports they were into.  

He is survived by his sons Ian (Melanie), Elliot (Brooke), and Blake (Jillian).  Seven grandchildren, Wyatt, Ashton, Autumn, Rose, Tatum, Tucker and Trey.  Brother Jim (Elvina) Rinde, sisters Linda (Gene) Stock and Diane (David) Wells, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  

He is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Shirley (Bartusek) Rinde, brother Steven, nephew Danny, grandparents and great-grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
