A Funeral Service for Conrad D. Wallace of Warroad, MN will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Warroad Senior Living Center Chapel in Warroad, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Conrad (Connie) Dale Wallace passed away peacefully with family by his side on April 10 at the age of 84 at the Roseau Hospital in Roseau, MN. Conrad was born on May 5, 1940 in Warren, MN to Earl and Harriet (Stroble) Wallace of Euclid, MN. He attended school at Euclid and Crookston graduating from the Northwest School of Agriculture in Crookston in 1958. On February 9, 1963, he married Sherilyn (Sherry) Oberg at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Crookston, MN.
Conrad and Sherilyn were blessed with two children, a daughter, Janine Marie, born on September 8, 1964, and a son, Dale Gregory, born on May 7, 1968.
Conrad worked as an auto mechanic and shop foreman for Salem Motors in Crookston and as an auto mechanic and shuttle driver for Quality Toyota in Fergus Falls, MN retiring in 2002. He was a member of the hockey board and Our Savior’s Lutheran Church council in Crookston and a long time member of the MN Deer Hunters Association. Conrad was also a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls and enjoyed collecting John Deere memorabilia, going to auction sales, deer hunting, and traveling.
He is survived by his daughter, Janine (Scott) Johnson of Salol, MN; and son Dale (Carrie) Wallace of Warroad, MN; grandchildren Zachary (Elizabeth) and Andrew (Amanda) Johnson; Logan (Sara), Cade, and Kennedy Wallace; and great grandchildren, Penelope, Charlotte, and Eli Johnson. He is also survived by his brother Kenneth (Corliss) Wallace, sister-in-laws Mary Jo Wallace, Amy Wallace, Vivian Wallace, and Bonnie McCranie, as well as nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife Sherilyn of 61 years, parents, grandparents, brothers William and JoAnn Wallace, Duane Wallace, Donald Wallace, James Wallace, sister Wanda Stroot,and brother and sister- in-laws Galen and Judy Oberg; Nephew Scott Wallace.
Interment will be at a later date.
