Clint passed away at home on November 23, 2023 after a 4 yr. battle with cancer. He was born on February 1, 1959 to Robert and Donna (Llewellyn) Korgel in Minot, ND. He entered the Army before graduating high school in 1976. While in the service Clint earned his GED and had 2 years of college education. Clint served as part of the 3rd Armor Division, 33rd Armor Regiment and was honorably discharged in 1979 at the rank of Sergeant. He was an experienced craftsman, carpenter, general mechanic and a true handyman. He worked at several places throughout his life, including Marvin Windows, Polaris, Basic Energy and Badger Daylighting.
Clint and LaCinda (Cindy) (Hurley) were married June 6, 1980 in Minot. Together they had 3 children, Jesse, Brandon and Kristen. Clint was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. His love and guidance forged three incredibly determined and resilient children. Through his strength and leadership, he raised a daughter with the courage to face any challenge, making her a strong, confident, and fearless woman. Clint cherished time spent with family and friends. He was incredibly dedicated to those he loved, an unbelievably hard worker, lived selflessly, and never passed up an opportunity to sacrifice his wants for the needs of others. He enjoyed hunting, shooting, fishing, cooking, billiards, baseball/softball, watching cartoons, and the prospect of trying his luck at games of chance. He was a notorious pool shark in the game of billiards, frequently able to run the table on his opponent at break. Watching Scooby Doo, his all-time favorite cartoon with his children and grandchildren brought him joy. His skill with a handgun and rifle peaked at expert level, and he especially liked time spent hunting and shooting with his boys. Clint lit up a room with his comedic charm, and loved hosting large cookouts. Grilling meat was his specialty. He was renowned for his cooking among family and friends.
Clint is survived by his wife Cindy, sons Jesse of Roseau, MN, Brandon (Amy) of Roseau, and daughter Kristen Andrews of Ocala, FL; 6 grandchildren, Rylee, Marliegh, Adaryus, Kelia, Joseph and Elsie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bobby Joe.
