Chaz Beyer Obituary

Chaz Beyer, 30, of Roseau, MN formerly of Alberta, MN passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021.

Chaz Nicholas Beyer was born May 26, 1991 in Morris, MN to Nicole Bartell and Boyd Beyer. Chaz attended grade school in Alberta, MN, where he was very active in every sport. Chaz had a love for Little League and was very good at it. Chaz was baptized in Lake Hattie in Alberta, MN in 2002. In 2004, the family moved to Roseau, MN and later moved to Wannaska, MN where Chaz attended Riverside Lutheran Church and was confirmed in 2006.

Chaz graduated from Roseau High School in 2009. After graduation, Chaz moved to Alexandria, MN and attended Alexandria Technical School. He graduated with a two-year degree in welding. Chaz worked many different places welding. He was a very talented welder and loved it. Eventually Chaz made his way back to Roseau and lived there until his passing.

Chaz had a love for hunting and fishing and spent a lot of time with his step-dad, Brian, doing one or the other. If Chaz wasn’t hunting or fishing you would find him always tinkering with his vehicle or tweaking on electronics. Chaz was one of a kind. He had a heart of gold and gave the best hugs ever! Chaz will always be remembered for his infectious smile and his genuine kindness – to know him was to love him!

Chaz is survived by his mother, Nicole Bartell and step-father, Brian Thompson of Wannaska, MN; sister Alexis (Nathan Hoy) of Warroad; brothers Drake and Nick Thompson of Wannaska, MN; aunts Leshere (Mike Wolfe) of Princeton, Jill Bakken of Bagley, MN; uncles Chance Bartell of Burnsville, MN, Kevin (Shelly) Beyer of Audubon, MN; cousins Baely Hennen of Princeton, MN, Kari and David Wolf of Princeton, Cody Beyer of Hutchinson, MN, Lucas and Lydia Bakken of Bagley, MN; grandparents Doug and Jody Thompson of Karlstad, MN, Carol Aaberg of Whapeton, ND, Roy Bartell of Fort Meyers, FL, Earl and Evie Beyer of Morris, MN; nieces Avenna and Aria of Warroad; nephew Ayden of Warroad; beloved fur baby Walter “Beans”; and many extended family members and friends.
