Brian W. Achen

Brian Wallace Achen, 64, of Baudette, MN, passed away on May 29th, 2023. Brian was born and raised in Baudette, MN. 

After graduating from Baudette High School, Brian enjoyed farming with his dad and working outdoors in various occupations. This work brought him to many locations across the United States including Utah and California. 

Brian loved spending time with his children, hunting, fishing, and being around family and friends. Brian had a passion for classic cars and loved cruising the back roads of our beautiful county. He would often stop in to have a beer with his favorite people. 

Brian is survived by his one son, Allan (Lara) Achen of Eagle Mountain, UT; his three daughters, Amelia (Eric) Nish of Eagle Mountain, UT, Amanda (Nicolas) Rairdon of Baudette, MN, and Sara Achen of Baudette, MN; his three grandchildren Hunter (9) and Gunner (4 mos) Achen; Fiona Nish (1). 

Brian is also survived by his two sisters, Vicki Blake of Baudette, MN and Cindy Stoeckmann of Galt, CA. He is also survived by his aunt, Lois Achen of Baudette, MN. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Charles and Ellen Clarice Achen of Baudette, MN.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Baudette, MN. Visitation is one hour prior to services at the church.
