Brent passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from a brain aneurysm. He was 39 years old, and his passing has left a devastating hole in the lives of his family, friends, coworkers, and especially his sons.
Brent was born on June 10, 1986, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Angela Goodin and Chris Greer. As a young person, he moved to Loveland, Colorado, where he graduated from Mountain View High School.
Brent worked at Polaris, where he was known as someone who brought energy and positivity wherever he went. He was fun-loving, hardworking, and the kind of guy people enjoyed being around. His coworkers and friends knew him as someone who could make people laugh and who genuinely cared about others.
Above all else, Brent loved his family. Some of his happiest moments were spent fishing with his sons, riding four-wheelers, and spending time together doing the things they loved. Whether he was outdoors, gaming and streaming, or just laughing with friends and family, Brent lived life with a big heart and a joyful spirit. He also had a special place in his heart for his dog, Deebo, who was always close by and part of his everyday life.
Brent was an energetic, caring, and deeply loyal person to the people in his life. He loved his family and friends fiercely, and they loved him just as much in return.
Brent was deeply loved, and his memory will live on through his children, his family, and everyone fortunate to have known him.
Brent is survived by his children: Caden, Avery, and Aubree; his mother, Angela (Chad Nelson); his father, Chris Greer; his special friend, Mandy Fuller; his grandmother, Janet Goodin; aunts Donna and Tina (Dave); uncles John, Alan, and Matthew; great-uncle Gale Norquist; and cousins Mitzi, Heather, August, Elaina, Kristina, Alyssa, Sarah, Brett, Jack, Tara Myers, Greyson, Aurora, along with many more cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald “Mitzie” Goodin; cousins Paul and John (“Jay”) Goodin; and aunt Kim and great-aunt Carol J. Norquist.
