Funeral services for Annie Rygh of Wannaska, MN will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 11 AM at Riverside Lutheran Church in Wannaska. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Mickinock Cemetery in Wannaska.
Annie Lenora Rygh of Wannaska, MN passed away September 4, 2021 at the Warroad Senior Living Center at the age of 97.
Annie was born on September 4, 1924 to Cornelius Erickson and Ida (Larson) in Badger, MN. She and Glen Rygh were married on September 11, 1943 in Roseau, MN. They farmed in Wannaska until 1950 when they moved to Portland, OR for a short time and then moved back to Wannaska and raised her children.
Annie loved and cared for her family! She enjoyed gardening, singing, planning family reunions and loved family get togethers. She was active in the Riverside Lutheran Church and Ladies Aide and a volunteer at the LifeCare Medical Center gift shop. Blessed be her memory.
Survived by: children: Richard (Sharon) Rygh, Salem, OR, Bryan (Carol) Rygh, King City, OR, Terry Rygh, Roseau, Cornel (Rosie) Rygh, Warroad, and Angela (Dale) Jensen, Lonsdale; grandchildren, Tammy (Rob) Foster, Julie (Kent) Wagner, Stephanie (Jerry) Losli, Jeff (Salina) Rygh, Nicole (Chad) McDonald, David (Rachel) Rygh, Tara (Scott Jacobson) Rygh, Michelle (Nathan) Cossentine, Randy Fournier, Kristi (Nick) Johnson, Lisa Heppner, Katie (Aaron) Marvin, Tonya (Eddie) Gillen, Chelsey Jensen, Blake Jensen; 30 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren; brother, Adolph (Evelyn) Erickson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by, husband Glen, parents; sisters, Ina Mortenson, Gina Oakley, Cora Bergstrom, Esther Hanson, Doris Hillard, and Thora Beito.
