Rubin B Haglund

Rubin Bernard Haglund passed away peacefully on April 23, 2019 at his home in Escalon, California at the age of 85.

Rubin was born on January 3, 1934 in Roseau, Minnesota to Adolph and Thilda (Mostel) Haglund.  After his graduation from high school, he served in the U.S. Army from 1957 until his honorable discharge in 1959.  He and Judith Kay (Christopherson) were married in 1963.  They lived in many places, including Minnesota, California, Arizona and Nevada.  His last several years were spent in Badger, MN and Manteca & Escalon, California.  Rubin worked as a builder in the construction industry for over 35 years and as a farmer. 

Rubin helped many friends and neighbors over the years.  He will be remembered as a quiet, hard-working person.

He is survived by his daughter, Krista (Tony) Adametz of Escalon, CA.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith “Judi” in 2017.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 14th at 11 AM at Rose Free Lutheran Church in Roseau, MN.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church; with interment at Moe-Rose Cemetery.
