Robert G. Ritter

Memorial services are pending for Robert G. Ritter of Warroad, and formerly of Standard, IL.  There will be a memorial service at the Salvation Army Norridge Citadel, 8354 W. Foster Ave., Norridge, IL 6076 on Friday, February 7, 2020, 11:00 AM and a Celebration of Life in the summer of 2020 at Northwest Angle, MN.

Robert Gerald Ritter passed away in Warroad, MN on January 11, 2020 at the age of 39.

Robert was born on November 10, 1980 in Ottawa, Illinois to Gregory and Cindy (Schmidt) Ritter.  He graduated from Putnam County H.S. and attended Technical College in Illinois for his welder’s certificate.  He worked as a welder at Polaris Industries and most recently, for Marvin Windows and Doors in Warroad, MN.

Robert lived to fish!  He was always happy when he was on the water.  Robert loved his children, Skylar and Angela, and always talked about them.   He was outgoing and loved to be around people.

He is survived by his children, Skyler and Angela of Peru, IL; brother Jason (Julie) Ritter of Byron, IL; and parents, Greg and Cindy Ritter of Oak Island, MN.  He was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert & Janice Ritter and Phyllis Schmidt.

Memorials are preferred to the Brain Institute of Science at Johns Hopkins University or a memorial of your choice to benefit A.D.H.D research.
